Teaching Philosophy

If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? My answer is yes because I know what is waiting for me after waking up: children. To me, education is the most beautiful thing in the world. I actually found that teaching is what makes me happy so there is no doubt that, if today were the last day of my life, I would want to do what I am about to do, teaching.

I also believe that there is a multitude of different reasons why any person chooses the career path that he or she does. Many people will choose a career because it is what is expected of them. Many people will go into a certain career field because it is something that they wanted to do since they were kids. Many people will choose a specific career because of the money making potencial.

I choose to become a teacher because I feel passion teaching. I feel passion seeing how people learn new things. I choose to be a teacher because I experience a sense of accomplishment by seeing knowledge grows up inside children. Also I believe that to receive a good education we need a good professor. Actually, I will not content myself with just being a good professor. I would be an excellent, amazing, successful and dedicated professor. But, what is required to be a good teacher? Some might consider knowledge and intelligence the most important trait for a successful teacher.
In my opinion, a person who knows a lot but is unable to communicate their knowledge to their students would not be a good teacher.

A good teacher is a person who, first of all, feels passion for teaching. The professor feels passion seeing how people learn new things. They will experience a sense of accomplishment by seeing knowledge grow up inside children.

That is who I want to be and who I will be.
